Reconciliation for peace or pieces
Naga society has been hearing the echo in our hills and vales for Peace, unity and reconciliation for many years, especially between NSCNs. Today these words have become hotchpotch because the national leaders quote so accurately, as well pronounce so well. It has become a hackneyed word because it is beautiful to hear but today it is diminishing by the receptor about its real meaning. These leaders uttered peace but many are living in the island of their own ego.

News : Lotha Hoho supports Isak Swu
DIMAPUR, FEB 14 (NPN): While appreciating the recent unification move of Naga national workers, the Lotha Hoho has however expressed surprise over proposed exclusion of Naga Hoho, NSF and NPMHR from the unification ambit.
Coming out with its view on the unification move for the first time, Lotha Hoho chairman Nyanbemo Ngullie and joint secretary (finance) Limhathung Lotha in a press release said the Lotha community initially “felt very happy and excited” when it heard the news of unification presuming that the declaration of NSCN (I-M) chairman Isak Chishi Swu on January 13, 2007, for peace, unity, forgiveness and reconciliation among Naga national workers and Nagas in general, was practically making achievements.

News : LSUD ‘B’ general session held
DIMAPUR: The day long 5th session of the Lotha Students Union Diphupar 'B' (LSUD-B) was held on the theme "how to be successful in life" at local ground Diphupar 'B' here Wednesday. The session was graced by CMO, Dimapur, Dr. T. Kikon as chief guest and senior lecturer, GCD, Dr. M.L. Ngullie as speaker.
While delivering the chief guest speech, Dr Kikon opined that the society in the present day was filled with many unwanted practices which have tended many youngsters into the act leading them to failure in life. He exhorted the students to evade from those unwanted practice and at the same time urged them to have a positive attitude and humbleness.

News : 24 hour ban successful at Wokha
Wokha, January 30 (MExN): Along with the rest of the tribe with a common call oriented, 24 hour ban was called by Join Action Committee (JAC) on delimitation. The ban was successfully conducted by the Lotha Students’ Union along NH-61 at Wokha on January 28 from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. LSU General Secretary N. Ejanthung Ngullie in a release has extended gratitude to the volunteers, police security, district administration, public and all individual for their support and cooperation shown towards the joint demand for retention of justice and equality in the state by carrying out the delimitation Act 2002.
